We are delighted The Positive Collective has been shortlisted to the next stage of the Home of 2030 international design competition. This is an enormous success for the collective and for small emerging practices wanting to make a real difference. Founding members, changebuilding, Perpendicular Architecture and humblebee will continue to collaborate with expert advice from Arup on smart building systems, Prof Robert Hairstans of COCIS on bio-based materials and SNRG on building manufacturing and Passivhaus detailing. A truly collaborative effort.
We now have until the end of September to progress our designs based on a real site given to us by the competition organisers. Our proposal will then be presented to strategic partners on the Homes England framework.
